How can we pay for our accommodation?
We will accept US dollar cheques drawn on a US bank account, and sterling cheques
mailed directly to us, or wire transfers / online bank transfers, direct
to our account. You may pay with a credit card although there is a 3.5% surcharge
for this facility (more for currencies other than US$ or GB£). We request
a 20% deposit to secure your booking. The balance is not payable until 60
days before your arrival date. A refundable security deposit is also payable
at this time. We also require completion of a booking form, before we confirm
your booking.
Will you accept credit card details in lieu
of the refundable security deposit?
Yes, in some circumstances and at our discretion.
What do I do if something goes wrong in the
villa whilst I am there?
We have a fantastic local management company who are on call for the duration
of your stay. Their contact details are in the Villa Handbook and will be provided
to you in our information pack also.

Why stay at a Resort Community?
Part of the fun of going on holiday is meeting new friends. The beautiful clubhouse
at Terra Verde with its resort pool, spa, sauna, playground, Tikki Bar and
meeting room with refreshments, offer an excellent opportunity to form new
friendships with fellow vacationers. You get the benefits of your own private
villa, plus the hotel style facilities of the resort and 24 hour security.
This may mean we charge a little more than those people on residential communities
but you will find it's worth it!
Can we arrive or depart mid-week,
or do you only accept Saturday to Saturday bookings?
We are happy to accept bookings commencing on any day of the week.

Do you sell Theme Park Tickets?
Not as such, but we do have access to preferential rates on tickets, car hire
and satellite navigation systems. Please ask for more details.
What is there for children
to do in the villa?
Our games rooms have air hockey, pool and, electronic darts and table football.
There is an X-Box and a selection of games. We stock DVDs, CDs, books, cards,
board games and puzzles. We offer free wireless internet access and in Villa
Mimosa we also supply a PC. For younger children we usually have colouring
books and crayons. We find Terra Verde Clubhouse pool, the play area and basketball
court are a great source of entertainment for our children. Pool toys and swimming
aids are also provided.
Why stay in a villa instead
of a hotel?
....space, privacy, your own pool, cost, comfort, choice, plus you get to come
to breakfast in your pyjamas, if you feel like it!

Do your villas have their
own pools?
Absolutely! Tradewinds also has a spa. Entry to the pool is via shallow steps
at the 3ft end of the pool. At its deepest the water is 5ft. There is a seating
area at the deep end. The pool itself is surrounded by a safety fence which
is required by law and we have installed alarms on all doors leading to the
pool so that children may not access the pool area without your knowledge.
We provide a selection of pool toys and swimming aids for your use. Our pools
are heated for your comfort, although please note that prevailing local weather
conditions will affect the water temperature. What is the star-rating of
your villas?
Florida vacation homes are not yet subject to a system of classifcation. Ours
have been furnished and equipped to "Platinum Standard", the highest
unofficial standard. We take a great deal of pride in our homes and work hard
to maintain them and keep them looking luxurious! Do you provide linens and
towels?
All table and household linens are provided. We provide bath towels,washcloths
and pool towels. You'll also find, hairdryers, umbrellas, CD players, DVD players
and alarm clock radios!
Do you provide baby equipment?
Cots / cribs, strollers, high-chairs and safety gates
are provided free of charge. If you require additional itmes, please
let us know.

Does the villa have a telephone?
All local and long distance calls are free of charge. International calls are
also free of charge to most destinations. International
calls to USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Italy, France and Spain are free of charge.
Calls to premium rate numbers or non-geographical numbers and to European
mobile / cell numbers will incur an additional charge which will be deducted
from your security deposit.
Are there any convenience
stores nearby?
There are not just one, but two 24- Hour Wal-Mart Super-Store's within 5 minutes
of Terra Verde and a Publix.
If neither of our homes are available, please contact
us anyway, we may be able to help you find suitable accommodation! |
